General Description
Nexthermal is looking for a new team member to schedule production by planning the work schedule for production departments using work order information and available inventory quantities. Coordination of orders and opportunities between sales and production using an advanced understanding of capabilities to align with customer’s needs.
Responsibilities
- Monitors, analyzes and report performance to schedule of production activities utilizing information derived from Made2Mange ERP system.Assist the manufacturing department to actively manage the production schedule.
- Plans and establishes production schedule according to material, employee, and equipment availability.
- Maintains a daily production schedule according to forecasts, blanket/I-orders needed.
- Coordinates customer ship dates with customer service and sales team.
- Effectively collaborates and interfaces with customer service and production supervisor to schedule and coordinate the flow of work within and between manufacturing departments.
- Tracks progress of production and reviews factor that affect schedules.
- Maintains a workflow that provides the highest productivity levels.
- Releases job orders, checking design, bill of materials, routing, quantity of job orders.
- Manage route time of parts to ensure accuracy.
- Experience with a MRP or ERP system.
- Experience with Made2Manager ERP is a plus.
- Understanding of the theory of constraints.
- Technical aptitude: understanding customer requirements and how they apply to fabrication.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft office including excellent excel skills.
- Strong communication skills; both verbal and written.
- Excellent decision maker, team oriented, whole business perspective are also a plus.
- Technical Degree preferred. Year of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
