Schedule: Monday-Friday (Weekends as Needed)

Position Description:

We are seeking a results-driven Technical Sales Engineer to grow Nexthermal’s presence within a designated geographic territory. This role is responsible for developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and providing technically sound solutions that align with customer needs.

Duties:

  • Develop and grow new business opportunities within an assigned geographic territory through prospecting, networking, and strategic outreach.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers to understand their thermal application needs and recommend customized heating solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from initial contact to proposal, negotiation, and closing.
  • Build strong relationships with both new and existing customers to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Work closely with engineering and product development teams to deliver technically sound and cost-effective solutions.
  • Conduct on-site visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records in the CRM system and prepare regular sales activity reports.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging customer requirements
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our solutions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies for technical sales presentations.
  • Provide pre-sales support by addressing customer inquiries and technical challenges.
  • Assist in project management activities to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques

Education and Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering preferably, or business administration
  • Proven experience in technical sales or a related field is essential
  • Strong background in conducting product demos and pre-sales activities
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong customer service orientation.
